What’s my next step, after I get my insurance quote?
If the insurance quote you get is acceptable to you, there’s nothing further to do except to let your lender know who you have chosen and what the annual insurance cost will be for your new home. Your lender will need this information from you, so please make sure to provide it to them.
What happens if the insurance quote I get is NOT acceptable to me?
If the insurance quote you get is NOT acceptable to you, then you will need to let your Thrive Advisor know that. For example, if the property happens to be in a flood zone the insurance cost could be higher than you expected. Your Thrive Advisor would need to know that so they can help you take appropriate action, and in severe cases even terminate your purchase contract if necessary, which would need to be done BEFORE your Insurance Objection Deadline found in Section 3 of your contract.
