What’s my next step, after I get my insurance quote?
If the insurance quote you get is acceptable to you, there’s nothing further to do except to let your lender know who you have chosen and what the annual insurance cost will be for your new home. Your lender will need this information from you, so please make sure to provide it to them.
What happens if the insurance quote I get is NOT acceptable to me?
If the insurance quote you get is NOT acceptable to you, then you will need to let your Thrive Advisor know as soon as possible. Part of the Due Diligence Period is to ensure that we feel confident with every aspect of the transaction including Homeowner’s Insurance. If you feel that the quote is too high, your Thrive Advisor may be able to recommend other Insurance providers, provide other options to ensure that you feel confident in your home purchase or in severe cases even terminate your purchase contract if necessary.
